MLB is looking to add teams to the playoffs. What does everyone think about the idea?

I think it is an excellent idea; motivation for fringe teams, thus exciting playoff matchups and added games can also benefit the viewership, giving fans more vested interest in following their teams through the dog days of August. The expansion can also lift several cities chances for postseason play that they might not have had otherwise.

I believe that it is a good idea, but then they would have to either cut the last couple of weeks of the regular season off or they would have to start the season earlier, otherwise they would be playing until late November.

Maybe, they can try a March Madness playoff system where all 30 teams are in the playoffs and it's single elimination. At the end, there could be a best of 7 series to see who the best team really is. I think that would be the most exciting playoff system MLB could possibly incorporate that would involve every team.
